Neighborhood
Kaasjeskruidstraat sits in Buiksloterham, a redeveloped waterfront district in Amsterdam Noord where former shipyards have given way to new-build housing, studios, cafés and waterside restaurants around the NDSM wharf. Bus stops on Klaprozenweg are a two-minute walk, connecting to Noorderpark and Amsterdam Noord metro stations on line 52, which reaches Amsterdam Centraal in around five minutes and Zuid, the business district and Schiphol connections in roughly fifteen. The free GVB ferries from NDSM and Distelweg cross the IJ to Centraal Station throughout the day, and the city centre is a fifteen-minute cycle away. The A10 ring road is close by for those driving.
