Flexible monthly rentals
City Retreat is built for stays of two months or more, with monthly terms that suit relocations, corporate placements and interim housing. Stays of four months or longer receive a 10% discount.

Every apartment is inspected before it is listed, so what you see is what you get — with no agency commission, no viewing queues and no Dutch income requirements to meet. Budget-conscious guests can start with our studio apartments in Amsterdam West.

James founded City Retreat in 2012 and leads strategy, partnerships and long-term growth. Based between Amsterdam and the UK, he focuses on delivering a reliable serviced apartment experience for guests while building lasting relationships with property owners and corporate clients.
Paul Beesley
Property Manager
Paul oversees apartment standards, tenant check-ins and landlord relationships, making sure each property is ready and presentable before every arrival.
Tom Romeo
Property Manager
Tom supports the day-to-day running of the portfolio, coordinating operations, repairs and tenant support so stays run without friction.
