The second floor houses the living area at the front of the building, furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, a 42-inch television, and a dining table with four chairs. A compact kitchen sits in the middle of the floor, fitted with an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle and a full set of utensils and cookware. The first bedroom is at the rear of this floor, away from the street, with a queen-size bed, bedside table, shelving, a cupboard, and a desk and chair for working from home. A separate toilet completes the second floor. The second bedroom occupies the loft on the third floor and has a queen-size bed, chest of drawers and a hanging rail for clothes. Warmoesstraat is one of Amsterdam's oldest streets, running parallel to the Damrak between Amsterdam Centraal and Dam Square. It is a lively street with cafés, bars and small shops at ground level; both bedrooms face the rear of the building and the loft in particular is noticeably quieter than the front. Amsterdam Centraal is a five-minute walk, giving direct national and international rail connections and metro line 52 south to Zuid. Trams from Dam Square run west and south across the city, and Nieuwmarkt metro station is a short walk east. Schiphol Airport is roughly 15 minutes by direct train from Centraal. The Nine Streets, Nieuwmarkt, Chinatown and the museum quarter are all within walking or short cycling distance.
