The Space
A modern, bright one-bed houseboat on the Prinsengracht canal. The interior is modern and bright with a minimal feel, while the gas fireplace gives the space a charming character of its own. The long studio layout comprises a living area, kitchen, and sleeping area, with a wide window in the living room looking directly out onto the canal and two roof-lights bringing in additional natural light throughout the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, Smeg fridge, coffee machine, and toaster, along with all utensils needed for everyday cooking. The living area is furnished with a large oak dining table seating six, a Swan chair, and a comfortable couch, with a Sonos speaker, Dell monitor, and KPN WiFi provided. The sleeping area has a queen bed with a high-quality mattress, duvet, and pillows, and remote-controlled Luxaflex curtains. An AEG washer-dryer, central heating, linen, towels, and cleaning equipment are all included, so the property is ready for immediate occupancy. Outside, the entrance is reached via a small bridge and opens onto a terrace with a table and two chairs. The entire roof of the houseboat is also accessible by ladder and serves as a full-length roof terrace with a lounge chair — a rare feature offering open views over the canal.
Neighborhood
The houseboat is moored on the Prinsengracht in the heart of Amsterdam's canal belt, a UNESCO World Heritage area within easy walking distance of the Jordaan, the Nine Streets shopping district, and the Anne Frank House. Cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets are all close by, and trams from nearby Westermarkt and Centraal Station — around 15 minutes on foot — provide quick connections across the city and to Schiphol Airport.
