A newly modernised ground-floor studio apartment in a converted church building in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, available for monthly rental from two months. The building was redeveloped from a former church into residential accommodation — the shell and proportions are original, the interiors are entirely new. It is a rarer thing to live in than the standard furnished-apartment block, and the reason the light and ceiling heights here are not what you would expect from a 25 m² studio. Being on the ground floor makes a real difference over a longer stay. There are no stairs to manage with luggage on arrival, deliveries and bikes are straightforward, and the entrance is step-free throughout. The studio is fully furnished with a large double bed, flat-screen television, dining table and chairs, and a full-height wardrobe with hangers and shelving. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, and the private bathroom has a toilet, basin and a large walk-in shower with both waterfall and adjustable showerheads. Air conditioning and heating are fitted throughout, so the temperature is yours to set year-round. The apartment will be delivered clean, and cleaning after the stay will be provided to a reasonable level.
